From passion to profession
Hey Folks!
Welcome to my little online shop.
My name is Jan, I'm in my mid-30s and I'm from Germany.
I've always liked leather. The warm feeling, soft yet sturdy and strong.
The fascination for leather craftsmanship, bag making and also saddlery gripped me years ago and I really wanted to try it out for myself.
I wanted to process leather in such a way that it survives generations, is passed on and many years later can look back on the years lived with a beautiful patina.
Starting with little things for myself. A small knife sheath for a Swiss Army Knife, then my own perfectly fitting belt and so on. Then came the requests from friends and family. And so, slowly but surely, the change from a pure hobby to self-employment grew.
Combined with the cozy charm of a bar, dim lights, soft music and good drinks.
This is how the idea for my leather bar came about ;)
In my shop I will show you some ideas and products that I like best and how I use them myself.
